Charitable Foundation “Kvitna” provides screenings in an office equipped with a modern Siemens ultrasound machine with a thermal printer for printing images, a colposcope with a video camera, a gynecological chair, an examination couch, necessary furniture, disposable materials, and hygiene supplies, ensuring accurate diagnosis and comfort for all patients.
Two highly qualified doctors provide free examination, and consultations with specialists from Israel and Germany are held regularly. The facility is also accessible to patients with special needs, ensuring assistance for women with diverse requirements.
Special attention is given to women facing difficult life circumstances, specifically widows and families of those killed in the war, female military personnel, female veterans, internally displaced persons, and low-income women, with Hesed Kyiv among the organizations supported through the program.
This charitable office has the capacity to serve 500–600 women per month, and all examinations are conducted completely free of charge, reflecting the foundation’s mission to make medical care accessible to those who need it most.
The program is implemented with Sheba Tel HaShomer as a medical partner, enabling the use of international experience and modern methods. Dr. Yoel Har-Even, Vice President of Sheba Medical Center, visited Kyiv and conducted diagnostic procedures alongside Ukrainian doctors, providing direct knowledge exchange and strengthening local medical expertise. This collaboration helps improve the quality of medical services and implement advanced standards of diagnosis and prevention.
